I've been with Anna for a little over a month and I can already notice a difference in my body. Although I workout quite a bit (boot camp classes) I always look forward to my sessions with Anna because I learn a lot from her. She is teaching me proper form which makes a huge difference in your workouts. Anna is very knowledgeable and she will help you attain your goals. If you're looking for a great trainer go see Anna.

I started training with Anna in January 2017. I was hesitant to begin personal training for several reasons:
1. The propensity for high pressure sales
2. Lack of connection with the trainer to my goals
3. Unclear or confusing pricing
I decided to buy a New Years special to train with Anna based off of a recommendation of a trusted friend. Before I started training, Anna scheduled time to meet with me to begin the process of understanding my goals. During this intro meeting she outlined her style, pricing, and what she does as a trainer. It was very clear from that initial meeting that Anna was all about the training/fitness/outcome.

Flash forward four month later and I'm beyond thrilled with my decision to train with her. In this short time I have gained strength, better balance, and a very strong foundation for future growth. During our training sessions we discuss form, technique, diet, and many other variables of a successful fitness regimen.

I highly recommend that any person looking to change their level of fitness work with Anna to achieve their goals.
In addition- it's pretty sweet to tell your friends that you're being trained by an "American Ninja Warrior"

I've been training with Anna for almost a year and have noticed a drastic change in my performance and how I view exercise. I have learned so much about how to train from Anna and she really encourages you to push yourself. In the past year, I have noticed a complete change in my body, 100% due to working out with Anna. I have been training with Anna for 16 months. I have lost 32 pounds and increased both my strength and flexibility. I love the way Anna approaches our workouts. She assesses how I reacted to the previous sessions and tailors the current workout to avoid injury. I had the opportunity to train with Anna starting last July. She is very knowledgable and really knows what to do to keep you one track with it comes to your goals. SHe pushed you bu knows when to pull it back so that you get the most out of your training session with her. She keeps the training fun and focues, which allows me to push harder and not get complacent. In summary, if you want to get healthy, fit, or just reach some training goals, and want someone to get you there who will not only help you reach your goals, but will also motivate you to want to not give up and push though, then Anna is the trainer for you.

January of 2015, I weighed 275 pounds, the heaviest I have ever weighed. I felt awful and sluggish. In February 2014, I met personal trainer Anna Shumaker. She put me through a program that revealed I had the body of a 67 year old person. I am 54 years old. That's when I decided I needed to get back in shape. I hired Anna Shumaker as my personal trainer and it has paid dividends! I consider it an investment into my health. Since going through the training sessions with Anna, I have lost weight, become stronger, and more flexible. Anna has showed me the proper techniques when using the exercise/weight machines, and individual weights. Anna is an excellent trainer and motivator. After the completion of each training sessions I am completely exhausted, and I feel GREAT!!
